Who It Works For

When online makes more sense

Outside Dallas

Students who want to work with Jelena but do not live within driving distance of Addison. Coaching travels; the technique is the same.

Between studio lessons

Existing students who want an extra session in a busy week, or a check on practice before a competition or a wedding.

Wedding couples with no time

Couples juggling wedding planning who can fit a lesson in at home in the evening. We can prepare a simple first dance entirely online.

What You Need

A simple setup

01

Space and floor

Roughly two by two meters of clear floor is enough for most material. A hard floor is better than carpet, and socks or smooth-soled shoes work best.

02

Camera position

A phone or laptop placed so the camera sees you from head to feet. Feet matter more than faces in a dance lesson.

03

Sound

A small speaker helps, so you can hear both the music and the coaching. We adjust the pace so nothing is lost to lag.

Common Questions

How online lessons actually work

What students ask before booking their first lesson over video.

Can you really learn to dance online?

For technique, timing, footwork and solo practice, yes. What video cannot replace is physical partner connection, which is why couples preparing a first dance usually mix online lessons with a few in-person sessions before the wedding.

How much is an online dance lesson?

$39 per lesson, taught live and one-on-one by Jelena. These are not pre-recorded videos; you are corrected in real time, the same as in the studio.

What do I need at home?

About two by two meters of clear floor, a hard surface rather than thick carpet, and a phone or laptop positioned so the camera sees you from head to feet. Feet matter more than faces in a dance lesson. A small speaker helps so you can hear both the music and the coaching.

Can we take an online lesson as a couple?

Yes, and many wedding couples do exactly that when planning gets busy. You will need a little more space and a camera angle that shows both of you.

Do I have to live in Texas?

No. Online students work with us from outside the Dallas area and outside the country. We agree a time that works across time zones when you book.
