Your first dance should feel natural, not rehearsed into stiffness. We start with a 45-minute intro lesson and consultation, then build a plan around your song, your timeline and your comfort level. No experience needed.

Three simple steps. Most couples book the intro lesson first, and we take it from there.
A short, no-pressure conversation about your wedding date, your song, the venue floor and what you picture for the first dance. You leave knowing your options.
We start working on your first dance right away and map out a clear plan for your timeline. This is also where you get an honest answer on how many lessons you actually need.
Structured lessons focused on timing, basic movements and a clean, natural flow, so the dance looks effortless on video and feels comfortable on the day.
45 minutes, for both partners. Includes your plan and a recommended number of lessons.
How to hear the beat in your own song, start together, and stay together when nerves speed everything up. Works with any song, from a slow ballad to something upbeat.
How to lead and follow so you are not counting out loud or pulling each other around. This is what makes a simple dance look polished rather than rehearsed.
Walking onto the floor, using the space, handling a dress and a suit, and ending on a moment your photographer can actually capture.
The five things almost every couple asks us before booking.
Most couples are comfortable after four to eight lessons for a simple, confident first dance. If you want full choreography, a song edit or a dip and lift, plan for ten or more. At the intro lesson we give you an honest number based on your song, your timeline and how you move together.
The intro lesson and consultation is $59 for both partners. After that, the cost depends on how many lessons your plan needs, and we go through the options together at the intro lesson so there are no surprises later.
Two to three months before the wedding is comfortable for most couples. Starting earlier means fewer lessons per week and far less pressure in the final weeks. We also work with couples who come to us just a few weeks out.
No. Most couples who walk in have never taken a lesson in their lives. We start with posture, timing and how to move together, and build only what you need for your dance.
Comfortable clothes you can move in and shoes with a smooth sole. Closer to the wedding, bring the shoes you will actually wear, and if possible practice in a skirt of similar length to the dress.
Tell us your date and your song, and we will tell you exactly what your first dance needs.
