One-on-one instruction built around your goals, your pace and the style you actually want to dance. Beginners welcome, and no partner is required. Start with a $59 introductory coaching session.

Not sure which style fits you? That is exactly what the first session is for. We look at what you want to use dancing for, then pick the styles that get you there fastest.
Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango and Viennese Waltz. Smooth, elegant styles that work at weddings, galas and anywhere with a proper dance floor.
Rumba, Cha Cha, Salsa, Bachata and Swing. Faster to feel social with, and the styles most students ask for when they want to dance out on a Friday night.
Leading and following, hearing the music, and handling an unfamiliar partner. This is the part that turns lessons into actual dancing outside the studio.
A $59 one-on-one session where we learn your goals, your experience level and your schedule, then recommend the right path forward. Many students book this before deciding anything else.
You leave with a clear recommendation: which styles to start with, how often to come, and whether group classes should sit alongside your private lessons.
Lessons run by appointment at our Addison studio. Each one builds on the last, with attention to posture, timing, partner connection and the details that make movement look natural.
The questions we hear most from adults booking their first one-on-one lesson.
No. Roughly half our students come alone. In a private lesson you dance with your instructor, so you learn both the leading and following side properly, which makes you easier to dance with when you do find a partner.
Your first session, the introductory coaching session, is $59. After that the price depends on how often you come and which program suits you, and we go through the options at the end of the first lesson so there are no surprises.
To feel comfortable at a wedding or a party with one or two styles, most adults need somewhere between six and twelve lessons. To dance socially with any partner, across several styles, think in terms of months rather than weeks. Progress depends far more on regular practice than on talent.
Comfortable clothes you can move in, and shoes with a smooth sole that stay on your foot. Trainers grip the floor and make turning difficult. You do not need dance shoes for the first lessons; we will tell you when it is worth buying a pair.
It is the most common thing people say in a first lesson, and it is almost never true. Hearing the beat is a trained skill, not a gift. We start with timing exercises before any figures, and most students find the music within a few sessions.
Forty-five minutes, one-on-one, and a clear plan at the end of it.
